We aim to remain as a boutique family owned and run winery which consistently produces a small quantity of exceptional, full flavoured elegant wines which reflect the unique qualities of the Swan Vallay and Pemberton regions of Western Australia
Our Chardonnay, Cabernet and Liqueur wines are testament to our commitment and vision.
White Wines
John Kosovich Wines has forged a reputation for outstanding white wines. In particular, our Chardonnay and Verdelho have been recognised among the best that the industry has to offer. Our current release of white wines continue this fine tradition.
2013 Unwooded Chardonnay – $20.00
A delightful dry wine vintaged from fruit grown on Swan Valley vineyard. Bottled young after maturation in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness and fruit flavours. Green straw colour. Aromas of pineapple, peach and melon. Excellent fruit flavour balanced by crisp acid. The palate has good length finishing very soft and dry. A wine that drinks well young, but will reward the discerning buyer with 5 years of careful cellaring.
2016 Chenin Blanc – $22.00
A classic Swan Valley variety renowned for its richness, complexity and full fruit flavour, this example is made to a dry style and we focus on freshness and fine acid balance, Fresh, crisp and lively on the finish showing melon and tropical fruit flavours. A great accompaniment to a wide range of dishes.
2017 Verdelho – $22.00
A floral aromatic wine showing tropical fruit flavours and spice. This is a dry style of Verdelho produced from our vineyard in Pemberton. Can be aged for up to 10 years when it will develop beautiful honeyed and toasty characters

015 Pemberton Vineyard Chardonnay – $34.00
This fine, elegant Chardonnay is produced from fruit grown on our Pemberton vineyard. The fruit was hand harvested and the wine was matured for 6 months in French oak casks before being bottled. The fruit flavours combine tropical hints, buttery texture and punchy ripe fruit. It is mouth filling and rich, with excellent balance of oak and a tight acid structure, with a clean and elegantly refined finish. This wine will reward with careful cellaring up to 12 years. Only 250 cases were produced from this great vintage
2011 Bottle Aged Chenin – $35.00
Beautiful bottle aged character and shows what great ages Swan Valley whites can become. Concentrated and complex, showing lovely weight and great depth of flavour this wine will continue to develop for a further 5 to 10 years
2017 Cabernet Blanc – $24.00
A dry style wine made from the free run juice of Cabernet Sauvignon which is usually reserved for premium dry reds. Shows superb balance of flavour and acid making it an ideal accompaniment to a range of food type. 100% Swan Valley Cabernet Sauvingnon.
2010 Autumn Harvest Semillon Verdelho – $20.00 (375ml)
A sweet dessert style wine with lovely fruit sweetness and structure. A fine after dinner wine that will accompany dessert, fruit, cheese, whatever you fancy.
Red Wines
Elegant, refined and easy drinking are the hallmark of our red wine. Our philosophy is that the fruit should do the talking, and you will find that our reds are not over oaked, tannic or high in alcohol. We want you to enjoy your 3rd and 4th glass as much as you do the first.
2015 Cabernet Sauvignon – $28.00
Produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on both our Pemberton vineyard. Aged in French oak casks for 12 months, this wine shows typical varietal character with great flavour and structure. Will reward with cellaring for 10 years..
2014 Petit Verdot – $28.00
Produced from Petit Verdot grape variety which we consider to be well suited to the warm dry climate of the Swan Valley. This 2011 vintage has been re-released to showcase how well we consider this wine to age.
Ripe floral notes with rich berry flavours, this wine is a wonderful drink. Aged in French oak casks for 12 months.
2012 Pinot Nior – $35.00 SOLD
Hand crafted from Pinot Noir grapes grown on our Pemberton Estate vineyard.
The 2012 vintage wine shows great depth and flavour with cellaring potential up to 10 years. Production was limited to only 150 cases.
2014 Cabernet Malbec Reserve – $38.00
Hand crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) and Malbec (20%) grapes grown on our Pemberton vineyard. This classic blend has been skilfully put together to produce a refined yet powerful full bodied wine, fruit driven with lovely soft tannins. Aged in French oak casks for 12 months this wine will develop further complexity from cellaring to 10 years.
2014 Shiraz – $28.00
Produced from Shiraz grapes grown on our Pemberton vineyard. Cool climate Shiraz character shines through this skilfully crafted, powerful, full bodied wine, Production limited to 125 cases
2016 Malbec – $28.00
Malbec grapes grown on our Swan Valley vineyard have deservedly been given centre stage in this wine. 100% Malbec has produced a full bodied red which whilst being robust is a very fruit driven style with excellent tannin and body. Aged in French oak casks for 12 months this wine will develop further complexity from cellaring to 10 to 15 years.
Fortified Wines
For a wine style that defines the Swan Valley then you can’t go past fortified wines. John Kosovich fortifieds are among the best examples to be found. Our flagship Rare Muscat consistently wins critical acclaim as one of the best examples of this style found anywhere in Australia.
Rare Muscat – $95.00
This wine is blended from 1950 Muscat base material that has been skilfully blended with other vintages from 1974 to 1996 to create something that is indeed a rare blend. The average age of this wine is 25 years.
2009 Fortified Shiraz – $38.00 (500ml)
This fortified wine has been inspired by the great wines from Portugal, and 60 year old Shiraz vines grown on our Swan Valley vineyard have provided us the fruit. Carefully following our tradition of fortified winemaking we have used high quality Brandy spirit and bottled the wine 12 months after harvest.
Wonderful rich, complex flavour are balanced by ripe tannins and seamless finish. Can cellar fo 20 years.
